Schwinn Panther 3 piece crank advice

Hi, I have an old straight bar schwinn panther but it is just the frame, and I recently purchased a 7G, also known as the 4G T belt, 4 stroke kit. It came with widened crank arms, but it did not come with a bottom bracket assembly and I have no idea how wide of an axle I'm going to need for the bottom bracket. I was looking at parts on this website and maybe someone could clear some things up for me because it looks as if I have two options here.

Option 1: Spindle http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=108

+

Conversion kit http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=56

Option 2: Cartridge http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=107

Bottom Bracket adapters http://www.sickbikeparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=104

as well as the cartridge tool for installation.

I'm assuming these 150mm+ spindles combined with widened cranks would allow for both a 4G or a EZM Q-matic drive to be used?

Option 2 is a nice wide set up that many people use. If your kit has the small bent crank arms then you should be good.

There was a time not long ago that the 3 piece conversions had spindles that reused the original one piece bearing cups. I'm guessing these aren't available anymore?
