Schwinn Meridian Trike w/ Predator 79cc

OK good news just built this motorized trike for this gent. It was a surprise for him. His old trike got stolen the trike was his only transportation so a good friend of his had me make him one so he could have some new wheels. It was a rush to see the look on his face when he realized it was his.

79cc Predator, Max Torque clutch w 11 tooth drive to a 33tooth jackshaft input. Jackshaft output 10 tooth, rag joint w/ 44 tooth sprocket on wheel. it goes about 25 mph w/ govenor removed.


They call him the Duke ! Works at a Carny ! It was a good day for him

I like the way you've mounted the engine on a subframe and laid out the jackshaft drive.

I wanted to keep the weight down low.It worked out fairly well. I put a brace from the rear end to the subframe and a brace from the rear to the motor to beef it up
