A friend of the family has an older schwinn with an odd serial number, was wondering if anyone here may be able to shed some light on when/where it was made...
the serial # is under the bottom bracket (pedals) and from what i've read schwinn stopped doing that in the early 50's. I'm not convinced the bike is that old but does look like it could be from the 70's or so to me. I've got a feeling it's a reproduction of an older bike... not sure what model as it only has schwinn on the tank & is missing the chain guard
