Saudering Copper Exhaust?

Can I fab up an exhaust out of copper and sauder it? The sauder says it melts at 420*, is that too low for the exhaust on these engines? If it is can I just use silicone couplers like SBP kits?

420 is definitely too low to hold together anywhere near the jug.

brazing should work some brazing rod will work with a map torch. You just have to get it hot enough for the brass rod to melt and flow along with good clean joints and a good flux to get it all to work. go to a welding supply shop and talk to the guys there they should be able to help you get the correct stuff.

Just so you know, steel starts to glow red above 750º F and I've seen my exhaust glow at night a few times so what ever you use has to be able to hold up between 750º and say 1000º.
