Santa Monica to Point Mugu / Malibu

I originally thought of Santa Monica to Santa Barbara, but realized that a shorter trial run would be best. 33 "real" miles each way from Santa Monica to Point Mugu state park /Malibu. There are plenty of stops along the way to choose from. Long stretch of highway (pch) and beautiful scenery. There's also a camp site at point mugu if anyone is interested in camping over night and riding back the following morning.

Chase cars welcomed, but I'm not gonna get into details. Just show up.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I don't think there is a bike lane
and the cars drive like it's a freeway. Real busy on the weekends too.

Still going to do a PCH ride south from Huntington Beach through Newport Beach
to Crystal Cove for everyone that is legal with plates, DOT helmets, etc.

There is a good bike lane except through Corona Del Mar but its easy to
take the whole right lane as the traffic moves very slow. I have ridden down
PCH to Dana point and back. It's a nice ride.
