My grubee skyhawk 66/80cc spark plug broke a while back. I replaced it with one from a weed wacker and it ran for a few minutes. Than it sat for about a month. I just put a pullstart on it and tested the new device, it works. I was not expecting it to run or even attempt to. Now I'm puzzled, it ran for about four seconds, quit, now won't run, or attempt to. Is the CDI bad? Help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd try a proper NGK B6HS plug first(gapped to .25). Weedie plugs are probably too short to do any good.

You could try replacing your old gas too. A "month" is subjective eh.

My bad, I meant the spark plug boot broke not the actual plug. And I've had it sit longer than a month before and still had it working.

Here is a check list of things to look for. Look in the electrical and fuel section to start with.
