rt carb throttle cable

So my cable just snapped and i need a new one can I use any cable like if I go to walmart pick one up for 5 bucks would it work? I never had it screwed into the throttle part because it wouldnt fit the cable part was too big so thats how it snapped overtime.
 
The carb from thatsdax? Just buy a new one from his website. You could try one from walmart.. But as his site states, it requires a 10.5cm draw.
 
Rocky Motor is right, Thats dax is your best bet on the cable, a standard brake cable from Wally World will NOT work.
