Has anyone ever used a 1980's 10-speed Royce Union for a 4-stroke build? What do you think of the construction of this bike? I'm not sure if the welds are strong enough. I adapted a Schwinn Cruiser fork. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have not personally installed an HT in one of those.

It's a brazed frame with support brackets... should be as good as many others.
Bonus that it's nice and clean so you may keep an eye on things and inspect for evidence of cracking as you motor about your town... :-)

If I was comfortable with that bike, I would run it.
