i ve seen motor with engine barrel rotated 180,front carb rear exhaust,realy like the look. wondering about pros and cons,before i attemp,

pros: looks cooler, seems to go faster.

cons: you need to make an intake manifold, and bend the exhaust.

biggest con: the exhaust will roast your pants, burn your leg, and melt your shoe. get some header wrap for the exhaust.

that motor is gonna cook. the exhaust side gets cooled better being in the front

realy? im thinkin it dont make that much dif.just as carb dosnt get that much more air flow, its only going 35 tops.but i dont know ive never done it,only seen it done. looks cool.it be interesting to check with temp probe to see if it makes much dif.

The 2 good things about this mod. I can think of is your fuel in the carby would be at a lower temp. as well as the incoming air.
This being the case cooler fuel and air would potentially make more power..
Anyone noticed how warm/hot the carby gets normally?
Its blocked by the barrel also the air is getting sucked in after it has passed all the cooling fins of the jug/head. Maybe im over thinking this :-{
