I agree with Al. Don't over do it with the heat. You can blister the paint if you're not careful. Just heat enough so you can peel up an edge then most stickers will just lift off when warm enough.They make a remover for auto body stripes. Heat gun, not too much heat that will blister the paint.

Same here. Gasoline or similar substance is a good choice. It aint gonna do anything to the paint.I use lighter fluid and or gasoline (not 2 cycle mixed).
I do too for the adhesive, but they most likely won't touch the decal itself. I just recently have a riding mower that the plastic name plate was loose "Murry"...one the hood. I peeled it off (both sides) and grabbed the first thing to remove the adhesive. It was my mix container. Total removal.I use lighter fluid and or gasoline (not 2 cycle mixed).
