regular oil mixing?

No. If you are talking about the china girl kit engines. There is a difference between 2 stroke oil and 4 stroke oil. Don't assume that if it's called oil it is oil.

Get a high quality 2 stroke oil. I personally use tanaka 2 stroke oil. 11 bucks for 16 oz. Good for 6-8 tanks.

Yeah, definitely a bad idea. At the very least, go to your local lawnmower supply and get some 2-stroke oil, mix at the ratio you need.

It will work, but you won't like the results (lots of smoke, carbon build up, ect.) Too easy to just buy the right oil.

You know the 16:1 gas/oil specs the manuals says were meant for?
Cheap motor oil in China.
I run non synthetic 25:1 2-stroke oil for breaking in, then switch to 32:1 synthetic after a couple of gallons.

If you find yourself in an 'out of gas' situation and have some raw gas and regular motor you'll be OK using it, just don't use it long as mentioned above.

Most gas stations or small engine shops sell tiny little bottles of 2cycle oil ment to give the right mix for 1 gallon of gas. Small enough to tuck into a seat or handlebar bag. most are ment fot 50/1 mix so most HT tanks will hold a half gallon so 3.2 oz of oil in 1/2 gallon is a 25/1 mix that will get ya home
