Recommendations for a front disk brake?

You'll need a hub and a front fork that are compatible with discs. The fork will need caliper mounts and the hub will need to have mounts for a rotor. If you have access to a welder you can make your own caliper mounts but the hub will still need to be a disc brake hub.
This is not a cheap conversion any way you go. You might want to look for a doner bike with a fork and wheel set up for disc brakes and that will fit your frame. Check your local thrift stores or Good Will. I've seen some great deals on bikes that would be cheaper than buying all of the parts separately.

I am also a great fan of parts bikes for swapping. Lots of good parts on cheap or damaged bikes...sometimes find damaged carbon bikes at LBS that can be had for pennies on the dollar.

Thanks for the responses but I rather buy new at this point. its faster for me. Im already rebuilding the bike so I have a new frame on its way and my new fork suspension will be here tomorrow and it is disk compatible.
