i bought one of these kit runs great for what it is just riding down the road and i dies the dam coil went out is that normal , i didn't have it by a heat source not close any way

How do you know the coil, (CDI) is bad? It might be something else as simple as a loose spark plug wire or something else. The ignition systems are pretty tough on most of the kits and the CDI is not an item that normally fails. You might check your wiring connections and the killl switch. The kill switch, (button) are notorious for failures. Get back to us, we're here to help.
