Really cool race footage on a HUGE board track....looks like the size of a nascar track. Never knew about the 'tow' vehicles either, good stuff:

I had no idea the tracks were that big. There is a lot of wood in that track

the clocked speed of the wining bike just to give you an idea of the speeds they were traveling on that track with the old bikes.

And as I understand it... no brakes. Talk about ballsy guys...
I've seen this before and now enjoyed it all over again, so thanks. This time I was struck by the sidecars racing. I wonder if those had any flex in the union with the motorcycle or were using a rigid attachment. They were moving right along!
