Hey folks. It's been a while since I have posted here, but I figured that I would share this potential project with you all.

This is a 1960 something Firestone "Silver Cruiser" that I see potential in.

The plan is to go the 4 stroke route and will try to post pics as I go.

I plan on using a double clamp extended MTB stem to extend the reach a bit.

The saddle is just laying on the frame for reference purposes until I can find a good source for a lay back post.

Cool bike, What type of 4 stroke? I don't use flikr but if there is an image code you can paste that to get the photo to show.
 
Thanks. I ordered a HF 79cc Predator motor and 4 stroke motor mount. I figured with minor mods, I can get the mount to accept the motor.
I am still unsure whether I will use a gear box or jack shaft, but I have the time to figure it out.
Do you know of any gear boxes that will bolt up to the HF motor?

Made some minor progress while waiting for motor and mount to arrive.

Has anyone here used this jackshaft assembly? I would like to get some feedback before I commit to buying it.

I will also be using a sprocket adapter from MM, so that wil also factor in.
