Problems with SBP shift kit

Hi, I have a Fito Modena G-2 and I have been having problems with the installation of my shift kit. After installation I have been having a hard time getting the chain to tension properly, but I will be buying a tensioner soon. The entire shift kit will literally twist around the seat tube whenever I try to start it, or even just pedal sometimes. I have ruled out things like the mounts not being tight enough, the chain being twisted or frozen, or where the motor mounts on the kit. I am just not sure what to do, I think I might have missed an installation step but I really need help. I'm pretty new to motorized biking so excuse my lack of knowledge.

Is it a Sick Bike Parts kit or ? You need to install aluminum thin rectangle piece behind seat tube.
