yesterday i was riding my china girl 66 cc it started up fine going down the road ok but engine dont die or anything for about a sec its feel like want to die not miss fireing engine dont skip it just seem to lose it of a sec when it going down the road any help be usefull thank

Mine was doing the same thing 2 days ago. After checking the connections, and gas, I replaced the cdi.

Actually no. I took the new cdi and tossed in the pile of other new cdi's I'm collecting. I'm assuming all the cdi's are the same, so I'm just using a used one that had a spark plug wire that was long enough. Now that it's under suspicion, I changed it back to the original 2 year old cdi that came with the 48cc kit, because it was working good when I removed it. All I did to it was add a longer wire.

I am using the new magneto coil though.

I guess there's a slight chance I might have harmed the cdi the other day by forgetting to keep the kill button pressed when I was checking the compression.
