Polaris Slingshot (new $20k tadpole trike)

I just watched a cool video for this new vehicle made by Polaris on the Gizmag website.

I guess its going to compete with the BRP CanAm Spyder and maybe the Campagna T-Rex. The price is right for this 'Motorcycle'.

The bike is cool, but I only got about halfway through the video before I couldn't stand listening to the guy talk anymore. No passion in his voice. He could have been reading the back of a cereal box. I don't quite get why you put the word motorcycle in quotations marks, since what else would you call it? It's not a car, it's not a moped or a dirtbike, if it's fast enough to go on the highway, it's a motorcycle.

Polaris makes a lot more than just snowmobiles lol

They also make an arguably higher quality motorcycle than Harley Davidson: Victory

They also own the Indian name now.

In my State, a three wheel vehicle is registered as a motorcycle.
I have a motorcycle license, but couldn't imagine pulling up to take my motorcycle drivers test in a Polaris Slingshot or in a Campagna T-Rex. These two vehicles drive the same as you would drive a car but are considered motorcycles. The BRP CanAm Spyder is also a three wheel vehicle, but sits and rides more like a motorcycle.
My way to seperate the category would be simply are you 'in' it or 'on' it?
Either way, all three vehicles are supercool & I want one!
Sure would be nice if it had a convertible top for them rainy days...
