I hope it generates some new interest in putting yourself on the map.
We often see new members asking if there are any motorized bicycle people near them. I usually pass on a link to the map but I know that many members haven't used this neat feature. Go to Dave's link and put yourself on the map. It's free and no personal information is shared.

sorry, my browser doesn't allow third party scripting, so that site with all the google code doesn't come up

as for personal info, scripts can read everything in a page including user names & passwords & google keeps a database of IPs and all names & passwords associated with those IPs from every site they run their scripts on - knowing all that, it gets easy for them to guess what name you'll use on a site they don't run their scripts on and what password you'd be likely to use on that site
