one more 40's Colson to add to the fleet.

it's been together a month now, and i ride it everyday if the weather's nice. it's been on a few long hauls, maybe 70-80 mile trips, i'd say i've got 3-400, maybe more.

runs like a dream. a really fast dream.

i'm hoping the stock internals of the motor can handle the added power it's putting out. it seems to love it, and barely breaks a sweat cruising 40-45mph. plug looks great, maybe a tad bit rich, but with what i'm putting this bike through, a little rich is fine with me...

yesterday i chopped and re-shaped the aermacchi head. got rid of the extra motor mount, and now it's pretty stealthy-lookin'. only the trained eye could tell it's not a china head.

today, i made an internally wired kill switch.

the wires go into a hole i drilled underneath the bottom bracket, up the seat tube, and out to the switch mounted in the layback seatpost. it's an on-off toggle, so i can shut the bike off at the liquor store, and if anyone tries to steal it, they'll be pedaling a lot unless they figure it out.
