I am new to this forum and would like to know what would be the best engine to buy that works good on a cruiser style bike. I've seen a lot of different ones on ebay and this website, does anyone know what works good? And what doesn't? Has anyone ever put a bike engine on a 3-wheeler bike?

Are you looking for a 2 or 4 stroke? Center frame or rack mount? There are many engines to choose from. Lots of info on the forum about which is best. Of course there are 10,000 different opinions of which is the best.

Both two and 4 stroke motors look great when frame mounted on a cruiser. It's personal preference. I rode two stroke motorcycles for years so I was comfortable with a 2 stroke motor.

I am looking for a 4 stroke center mount motor. Also, I am looking for a hub brake front wheel and a monarch style spring front end.
