Occ gas tank mount alternative?

I have a occ and have had gast tank problems for over 8 months or so.

First one of the engine mounts had a crack and leaked, jb weld lasted a couple months, the opened.

Drilled through the frame to put the mounts on for it but now after 5 months the holes are drilled widened and no longer work since vibrations.

So last week i used a product called permatex "cold weld" to somewhat hold the gas tank onto the frame but today it fell off.

I Now ordered a new gas tank for it but i want to lnow the best way to mount the gast tank to the bike.
 
I just picked up a tank off ebay for like 35 shipped. Ill have to clean the rust out, which I am doing right now. Metal rescue is working quite well so far and its only been a couple of hours. The stock gas cap worked with the tank thank you lord lol. now I just need to find or engineer a petcock for it. Its actually a full gallon size and in my opinion looks way better than the peanut tank. I went through three of those so far. I decided to change it up. I do still have to figure out how to mount it but one step at a time.

Bend up some aluminum strap and make your own loops that go around the tall top tube gusset like on my Raven.
