NT Carb on 49cc hs

I've decided to ditch the stock Huescheng carb in favor of a Happy Time NT carb. Carb just arrived. New intake is on the way. I live in New Orleans, at sea level. Any recommendations about jet size, and C clip placement? Thanks in advance.

That's kind of a question that you have to kind of see for yourself. All motors run differently and I know that on a huasheng the stock jet runs fairly well. Being closer to sea level you might have to jet up, but who knows until you get it running. Slap it on get it running then fine tune it.

Since the NT is slightly smaller about midway for the clip.
You also need to fashion a catch can for crank case breather hose.
Any can mounted under the breather hose will work unless you want oil everywhere.

Don't try putting that hose in the NT's air cleaner, been there, done that, it kills performance and still make a mess.
