NO, The mag itself would be in a different position. The crank and keyway can't move. it will always be 2oclock at TDC.

Yeah, its more like the cutouts aren't at 6 and 12 anymore.

After reviewing the chart I noticed that it wanted you to be on the 200 scale for 300-400 ohms. That seems wrong. I changed to the 2000 scale and got around 350 ohms on both coils so now I'm really stumped.

I'll solder the connections but I don't think that's the problem either as I have checked for continuity through them multiple times.
