Hi
I have a nexus 7 speed in hub .It came out of a bike called revive its like a 3/4 recumbent also the wheels are only like 20 inches there very small so my question is whats this going to be like on a 26 inch wheel . I will be doing a Q Matic either with the nexus or maybe Nu Vinci . I allready have the nexus so if it will work I would rather not having to spend any more money.will the ratio be alright??

It will work fine with 26" wheels. If you wanted it for multiple speeds for your engine, I'm sure you know by now that a shift kit of somekind is needed for this application involving a jackshaft or the likes. Cheers,

IMHO, pairing a shift kit with a Q-matic is a waste of time. Sure the Q-matic could use a low gear to help off the line, but the complexity and additional drivetrain losses that a jackshaft for such a setup will incur will only lessen a good thing.

That hub would help a lot on the pedal side tho.
