Newbie , need help !

The problem with the bike in the second picture/link you provided is that the rear rack is attached to the frame on a suspension bike. Thus if you mount an engine on the rack, when the back wheel goes up and down with the suspension it will cause your drive chain to fall off.


If you/or the welder...................................

Could take the rear rack off/unweld it from the frame and use torsion bars or make a way to make it mount to the rear suspension arm it might be possible to still utilize this frame. Would it be too weak?........Lots of factors and variables are involved. One of them being.......

The size and weight of your powerplant(engine)

Do you have a pict. of the engine you are planning on using?
 
It has a sealed transmission and its weight is about 10-15kgs . I will be using the tyre of the scooty itself as it has drum brakes . Do you people think the frame can take it ?

I just watched it. great that you have street sweepers there! It's great seeing the background of other coultures. You basically have a scooter there though. when the bicycle can't peddle the machine it is a moped instead of a motorized bicycle. Good work though to blend the 2 together. If you could make the peddles propel the machine you could get more support here. This is a motor bicycling site.
 
Yea that is another thing Saheevan Not all of these guys have Facebook. Try to upload the video or put it on photobucket. for them that probably why noone has responded.
 
Sure will do that . As it was my first project , had to compromise so much. Even the sources available here are very limited
 
Its a scooter rear end/swing arm mounted or welded to a mountain bike. no pedals. what would you call that? id call it a scooter...
