I recently installed my 80cc kit. It works fairly well except for the generator/light kit I installed. It burned out both bulbs after about a mile. Also the engine started to sputter after about 8 miles. I did make it home. The engine starts and idles well, but after going full throttle for a while it starts to sputter. any suggestions?

Full Throttle isn't recommended until after the egine is broken in - usually about 5 tanks of fuel. As for the burnt out bulbs, did you get a 12 volt charger and 6 volt lights?

if you have one of the generators lightsthat hook up to the tire dont hook it up to the rear hook it up to the front tire and like coastal cruiser says full throttle is not recomend it i did that once and i had to buy a new engine whats you oil to gas mixture usually to much oil could cause you bike to sputter causing the spark plug to get glog and not produce a spark
