hi everyone. i just ordered my first stock motor kit before finding this website. its really flat where i live and i dont have a car so my bike is my main way of getting around. been thinking of putting a motor on it for a while now and finally committed. glad to be with you guys.

You ought to enjoy yourself. I'd advise doing a bunch of reading here. Just click on any headline that looks interesting, read until you're losing interest and then repeat.

The reason is not that these 2 cycle kits are all that difficult. It's just that there are pitfalls to watch out for. Some reading ought tol immunize you.

hey guys so im looking at how the motor will fit after i finish installing it and there isnt quite enough room for the carborator. i had read that these kits will work on a 24" mountain bike but it looks like i'll need to do some adjusting. any tips from the masters on what to do to make it fit?

It looks like an offset carb. manifold would do the trick.

I would find a good piece of tubing and cut the manifold and add it in. I think you want the carb to sit pretty level... Right?

Bicycle handle bar tubing will work,get some flat washers to fit the handle bars,shape to fit drill for bolts,good to go................Curt

ok so this morning i picked up some tubing from the local autozone. here's my attept at a ghetto flexi-manifold. what do you guys think? its a little long but this is a proof of concept thing i can shorten it later
