New to Me

I just bought a 4-stroke chain drive Gasbike Storm 49 cc kit from craigslist new. The seller decided that he was not mechanically inclined to install this kit and it has been sitting unused in his closet for the last 3 years. I jumped at the $125 price after researching motored bikes for the last few weeks.

I initially wanted a motorcycle but wifey nixed that idea. My last bike, a '75 Honda 400F was sold to buy my wife to be an engagement ring many years ago. I looked at scooters but they were so pricey and the 49cc models were too slow. Looking forward to 2 wheel motored riding when I get this kit install.

Does the Hua Sheng 49cc engine have to be install level? I have to tilt it fit in my triangle. Does this work?

The 50 cc 4 stroke Huasheng is a good clone of a Honda GXH 50 cc.

Yes it is OK to tilt the motor about 10*
15 * at the most and your motor is a tilted a lot more than that.
There was a Honda build here that did that and they found the Honda specs.

I would tilt it towards the back or filler hole if you absolutely have to.

They don't look good on an angle IMO.

Welcome to the forum...use the search bar...thats the best advice I can offer, but know this...once you motorbike...youll be hooked...

My GT Jetstream is so comfortable to ride, too bad it may be too tight a fit. I have an old Fuji road bike in the garage. I have to change the handlebars:
