I bought a replacement piston and body for my 80cc bike and when I got it all put together there isn't enough room for the piston to get up high enough to circulate if that makes sense.
When I try to turn over the engine it hits the top before its gotten all the way up to start going down.

I don't really know what to do at the point. Do I need to lower the lever that is moving the piston up and down or grind off the head of the piston a ways.

Thanks,
Liam

Forgot, welcome to the forum.
Well I couldn't have hoped for a more helpful response. Ill look online for some 1 1/16 pistons, do you know if I'd need a different cylinder body as well? Thanks very much, Greg!

I would compare the old cylinder to the new one you have, measuring the distance from the base to the bottom of the port openings, port timing may be different from type A to type B. If they are the same the new one should work.
