I'm new to the motorized bike thing but as a ex-moto racer I know a little about 2 strokes but has anyone had a problem after doing the transfer ports not sealing properly at the base of the jug. I had to make a adapter for mine to seal up properly.

Welcome to the forum, I have cleaned the transfers on several and have never had a problem. If you have pictures post them, there's a lot of more experienced members that build theirs for performance that will respond.
Welcome to the forum... I've never had a problem either... (& I re-use the the stock paper gaskets).
