You get what you pay for.
If I was planing a jack shaft bike I'd be looking for a better foundation.
Just adding grease to the bearings wont make bad parts good .
A jack shaft ( done right ) requires quality parts , such as derailleurs , chains , cranks , wheels , etc.
Not to mention good quality brakes......

I think that Kent bike will work for a China girl. May require an offset intake manifold for carb clearance. I realize not everybody wants to get an older cruiser and then have to repaint and such before addinng an engine kit.
-If you are a first timer, I would install the engine kit in stock form and complete the break-in BEFORE adding the shift kit. You don't want to get discouraged by the small, but frequent problems to be solved with the engine kit and jackshaft kit until everything is properly dialed in.
 
This is my second build, know all about the little bugs. Thinking this will be something fun to build for a second build since first was very hard to fit and this has a very large frame.
