New Hobby no Money

Re: New Hoby no Money

Hello EJSCFP, welcome.

No worries about your English. We are all friends here.

Re: New Hoby no Money

That bike will require a lot of engineering expertise to motorize.....unless you use a front hub electric unit. That however is not a reality with "no money", they and the battery pack required to power it are quite pricy.

Good luck with your project!!

Yes, electric bikes are more expensive than gas powered.

This bike could be motorized with a rack mounted gas motor as a
friction drive, chain drive or belt drive.

Re: New Hoby no Money

Thanks for your help, I was thinking in a gas version. Can you please let me know more information about how ease is to make the installation and recommended kits for this model and if there are examples of the finish mod?

Thanks again for your help

Re: New Hoby no Money

I think your best bet on that type of bike is a friction drive gas motor kit. Since it rains a lot in PR, that may not work out.

slice it off vertically in front of the rear suspension spring and weld it to a cruiser frame or regular bike
seat post with the rear triangle chopped off

then mount your china kit engine to the cruiser or regular bike seat post and front down tube
and ride it man
