new hobby my pedals hit my 66 grubee on my 1940 ccm bicycle

any help appreciated,can u heat and bend out or cut off and weld back on wider or is there accually after market peddels for abike this old

You can heat & bend the cranks, or just buy a new crank for $10.

old dogleg cranks, right? i'd take those off, keep 'em original, and buy some old Wald cranks from ebay. usually you don't have to bend them.

or buy some aftermarket ones.

thanks for the advice venice and bairdco i mounted motor higher so peddels just clear motor. higher centre of gravity than i wanted, but hope it doesnt create any other problems during build . gonna check e bay now bairdco thanks guys; draw
