New here just got into motorized bike building.

Hello I'm new here.. Recently fractured my ankle at work, so I decided to try my hand at building a motorized bike, got a 4 stroke kit from bikeberry and a comfortable bike and works great and it's reliable. Buddy just gave me 2 more bikes with old beat up 2 stroke motors gonna rebuild them both and this place looks great for advice.

Welcome to the forum, I did the same 10 years ago, I had foot surgery and was told to stay off of it for two weeks. Two days later I was in the shop building a bike, I stayed off of my foot, I sat on a stool as much as possible.

Suspenion seat post greatly improves the comfort levels. Get a bicycle computer to monitor your speed. Also use helmet mirrors and use hand signals.

Be sure to watch all three videos. Be aware from a distance you look like a pedal only bicycle. A closed compartment vehicle with a radio on won't hear your engine either. They may pull out in front of you not realizing how fast you're going.
