I think I want to build 79cc 4 stroke with SBP kit. SBP advises 79cc not compatable with Grubee gear box though I've read posts mentioning just such combo. any advise appreciated, suggestions welcome!

Welcome to the forum. The HF 79cc Predator is a DIY build. There is no kit for it.
If its your first motorbike build, I would go with an engine kit with a 49cc Huasheng thumper.
SBP can supply a jackshaft/shift kit for the HS and they have plenty of experience.
