In 2004 a nation wide coffee shop ordered approx 6000 of these bikes for their 40th anniversary and gave them away in a contest. I bought this one today as I always wanted one. Trying to decide to motorize. The lady said she only drove it once.

Steel or aluminum frame? Looks like a Schwinn cruiser to me too. They made them in steel and aluminum. The steel frame bike would be better but many have motorized the aluminum one too with success. Moderator, Dan, has one. Maybe he'll chime in.
It's aluminum.
Bought this bike this weekend also. It's 30 years old. Bought from original owner who says he hardly used it. It's steel. The frame looks like it will take the motor mounts without an adapter. I think it's a house brand built by Raleigh.
