I'm not a expert but I have built a few motorized bikes with engines from different vendors, as most here will recommend preparation of the engine before you install it is the key to a long running engine. A lot of members have found debris in the engine from the manufacturer that if left in the engine will cause dàmage, I was lucky on my first bike,it ran great right out of the box. Since I like to at least remove the cylinder and wash out the crankcase with mixed fuel before ever installing the engine, then pour that out on a shop towel and see what I find.
