well took off right side cover to the main gears and meatal shreads and bearins fall out also able to move large gear side to side, what do i need to fix this and how hard is this? oh yeah bgf >5 miles

this could be fixed, but it might mean splitting your crankcase. its not hard if you know what you are doing, but i personally have never done it. replacing the engine is another option. I bought a replacement engine from bgf last april for about $90 shipped, and its still running strong.

I doubt if you need to split the motor.

Sounds like you just need a new clutch.
All those ball bearings are from the free wheel in the clutch
which is pressed together.
Easier to to replace than try and rebuild the clutch.

If you email BGF nicely with a pic he may send you one.
A pic would to help to see if you have other damage.

I concur...Unless you have bad shaft bearings, you don't need to split the case. Click the link below and it will take you through splitting the case if you ever need to do so.
You will need to order a gear puller if you don't have one.
