Need advice for first build!

Nice, looks like you got it all situated. Definitely get some good white lithium grease in those bearings, top and bottom. That will keep them rolling smooth as well as rust protect them all. Do it right and you won't need to do it again for a long time. Once together, lock the front brake and push your handlebars forward, if there's play in the fork front to back, you've got something out of place. The bearings should rotate left and right freely, but have no lateral play. If solid, you're probably good to go.

Thanks for the help everyone! Hopefully I'm not the only one who has gained from this thread. I'll be updating you all on the progress of the build!

Still working on getting this build completed. The sprocket hub adapter is too small as none of my tires have a 1" hub. I'll have to buy a different tire. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as a specific crankset to order?

Finally got it running. Here's the completed build. Reached 44mph
