my new 100 cc came in today

my 100 cc motor came in today was packed real good and after examination no breaks or flaws detected......happy camper here

it be a while still need to order the bike a steel rear wheel from wheelmaster and a exhaust that is another 500 bucks but i am looking forward to build my new bike i learned so much from all the problems with the old huffy bike that i am confident i can now build a much better bike one that wont fall apart. this forem has given me so much info that its hard to screw up if you follow the directions from the knowledgeable people here.
 
i was thinking of buying this muffler but if any of you have a better option i am open to suggestions . when i saw this one i was thinking to run it along side the bike on the opposite side of sprocket. it has a expansion chamber and from what i been reading that is the way to go with a 2 stroke .

Gill the pipe on my bike I ride the most works good, it didn't increase top end much but helped bottom end to mid-range a lot, I welded a stock muffler on as a silencer.

Gill cannonball2 has been riding a yd100 since early 2020, he is the first I know of to get one here on the forum. He is running a similar pipe to mine, I think he is happy with his as well. What I've learned about exhaust pipes on these little engines is the head pipe length makes a difference in torque on the low end, my bike climbs hills now that it wouldn't before I installed the pipe.

i am smack in the middle of hill country here in PA my town is in a valley so all hills my 80 cc can make it on some others i have to peddle and some i dont even try..lol that's the reason for the 100 cc i don't have to go fast as long as it can climb.
 
The bike in the picture is a little 48cc, it tops out at 31-32 mph with a 44 tooth rear sprocket, I have done a lot of work to get it to run like it does, stock it was slow. Today’s stuff should be better, that engine is 10 years old.
