Mounting bracket

I have gasbike gt frame with a 79.5 4 stroke . Trying to mount with cbc mounts . Won't work engine hits fuel peacock. If I move mounts for word my rear. Mount isn
Mmm't long enough. I haven't seen this combination here or on YouTube
Any help would be appreciated.

try re-drilling the rear section to let the end plate out further.

I don' know how to insert pic. Thanks for the comment it seems like the mount about 2 " short.
