mounting 48cc on 75 collegiate bad idea?

It's an old bike, everything is original. I'm planning in changing the handle bars though. Would it be a bad idea yo want to mount a 48cc motor on it?

It'll ride like a...well....road bike. Aka not smoothly. lol
It'll fit, but I personally wouldn't do it unless I had super nice roads.
 
That's right. That didn't come to mind. Thanks! Hmm what if I got bigger tubes and stuff? My roads aren't too bad but there not perfect.

Really? Hmm, dang it. It's not looking good.

I'm on a budget and I have the bike so I thought I would just use that.

If I were to buy a bike I would be willing to spend 150 no shipping included if I order it online.

Would you guys he able to throw some recommendations ly way? If you don't mind.
