Here is a link to an early motorized skate set up in France in 1906. Website claims a top speed of 55kph, around 25mph? Pretty impressive. Sorry, no video.

I was wondering if this was really 1962, the resolution looked too good, but the cars in the background look like right. The film must have been hardly ever played, I wonder what camera was used. I don't think I've seen any home made film over 50 yrs old that looked this good
