Ok, so chains are hooked up, no binding or unusual noises.. Well there does seem to be a problem. Why is it so hard to pedal, it is very stiff and requires a lot of effort. And I don't even have the spark plug installed yet?? More problems! Is it ever going to stop? Yes the clutch is in!!

Sometimes the clutch is stuck from sitting in the box, once you run it things will loosen up. There will be resistance because you are turning more mass, that's the trade off for having a engine.

If when pedaling with the clutch handle pulled you hear the engine turning over the clutch is either stuck or not adjusted correctly. The piston shouldn't move with the clutch engaged.

Chain is to loose, if it is factory chain it will stretch a lot. Go to farm store and get a box of #41 chain. Maybe some of other guys will of a better chin, but 41 is industrial and should work good..........Curt Do you have a tensioner on it?

It does try to run but only for about 10 seconds give or take a few.
