FORK SPRINGER 26 SUNLT DLX 300xTDLSx28.6x30 DISC BKy'all have a Merry one and a great 2016.
KC or anyone question for you, what is with the 160mm max. rotor size rating with the Sunlite's?
just like to know cause i believe 203mm is the biggest that i found can work with the TRP.
160mm rotor size refers to where the forks caliper mount is (the L in white) and the minimal size of rotor it will take.
If the rotor were smaller the pads wouldn't reach.
You can always go larger.
The caliper is made up of 2 parts.
The caliper itself on the right, and the standoff on the left of this pic.
When you buy a larger rotor it typically comes with a new standoff that is 'taller' to move the caliper farther up and away from the standoff to fit the larger rotor.
You can accomplish the same thing by using fatter spacers for the 2 left silver ones and of course longer bolts but as mentioned, the new rotors usually come with a new standoff.
One last note is rotors have a rotation direction arrow.
Hope that helps.
