I am real happy there's a few guys who are using the monark firestone frame, I am in the process of obtaining one for my next build. this will be an excellent resource for it, I am stoked!! Such a cool frame.

been riding the bike for the last two days. it's pretty much done but for some tank straps and some final tuning. runs smooth, super comfy.

here's the lowdown on the parts:

Frame, Fork, Chainguard, Fenders are all original from a 1952 Fireston Cruiser, made by Monark

Wheels are vintage drop center rims, new 12g spokes, rear shimano CB E-110, front is a Worksman Drum, with Innova 26x2.5 tires.

Handlebars, Stem, Cranks and Sprocket are NOS Wald products.

Seat is a Sunlight cruiser saddle.

Engine is a Grubee GT5, with basic port matching, nice reliable NT carb.

Manic Mechanic adapter with a 34t sprocket. 35mph cruising speed (motor's still fresh, haven't maxed it out yet)

Bairdco Motor Mount Block

3 Liter Copper tank. (still need to mount it with white leather straps.)

Jagwire cables

Diacompe Tech 77 locking levers.

i think that's about it...
