Minor Crash Today

I was turning around a corner and all the sudden my back wheel jumped, and I fell sideways onto the street. I was in such shock, my hands were still on the handlegrips and my feet were still on my pedals after I crashed, lucky too, the left pedal was grinded up! I hit the back of my head real hard too. I always wear a full face dot helmet when riding, if I didn't have a helmet, I would have been knocked clean out.

Damages to my bike (Skyhawk Frame, 4.5 hp arrow) : Pedals, Clutch cover punched through, chain derailed, snapped clutch lever, trashed handle grip. Not all that bad.

I hope your injuries, if any, were small. Yep, they can happen very fast. Within a half second you can be riding then sliding. As the old maxim says, 'Been there, done that."

Here's to a rapid recovery to you and the bike. So glad you were wearing a helmut.
