maxxas hookworms

Are maxxas hookworms 26x2.5 really good tires? Do they wear fast like soft kenda mountain bike tires? How wide does my frame have to be? Right now I have a kent glendale frame which is steel so I can bend it. Currently I have 2.1 inch tires and its cutting it close with the tire now. I can post pics if anyone needs help to judge clearances.

Chain to tire clearance gonna be an issue. Beyond 2.125 iffy at best. On my bike with a 41 mach chain I got scuff marks. replacements will be 1.95... when the time comes.

They wear pretty well, excellent traction, and look cool.

But they're a lot fatter than what you have now. Might take some serious tweaking to make them fit.

Here is two days on the track with the hookworms. I must have done 70-100 laps on these. Plus a lot of it was on the supermoto course.
