Max Tire Width on Skyhawk

Hello all,

I have bought rims for my new bike on a skyhawk frame. Is there any reason 2.5" Maxxis Hookworm tires would not fit on this frame? Mainly worried about the tires fitting the frame. I will be using a shift kit so I'm not reallly worried about chain clearance or anything like that. Thank you.
 
Also this would be a 26" diameter tire. The rim width appears to be 1" all the way across with the inner width, ( the underscore in this diagram l_l <--thats a bicycle rim lol) being slightly less
